In addition we would draw your attention to the following points:

  

1) Coming from the North/South along the A19:

Follow the road until you arrive at the A1046 turnoff (just over the River Tees Viaduct if coming from the south or just after the prison (on your right) if coming from the north). Take the road to Stockton from the roundabout. Go straight through the trading estate and passed the site of the old works. At the small roundabout (with the large car showroom on the right) take the right fork and follow the road down to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right then take the right at the next roundabout. The sports centre is approximately 1 quarter mile from there on the right, in its own grounds.

 

2) Coming from the West along the A66

Take the new turnoff marked for Stockton immediately before crossing the River Tees. Keep left at the junction at the top of the incline. At the traffic lights go straight across to the large roundabout and take the road at the opposite side of the roundabout. Follow the road alongside the river. Go straight across at the traffic lights and follow the road as it gradually bends to the left then take the right at the next roundabout. The sports centre is approximately 1 quarter mile from there on the right, in its own grounds.
